The Research Unit for the ELSI of Genomics was set up in the Institute for Research in Humanities, Kyoto University to conduct Scientific Research on Innovative Areas (Genome Science) with Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The Unit works to establish research governance in genome research.
